Biography of Fanny and Sara Nathan

Fanny Nathan, geborene Heumann, wurde am 17.4.1858 in Laupheim geboren. Sie heiratete 1877 Samuel Nathan und hatte mit ihm drei Kinder: Alfred (1878), Hugo (1879) und Sara (1881). Die Familie zog 1897 nach Ulm. Nach dem Tod des Ehemannes 1913
zogen Fanny und Sara 1919 in die Keplerstraße 27 um. Sie mussten 1940 in das „Judenhaus“ Neutorstraße 15 umziehen, dann wurde Sara Nathan am 26. April 1942 nach Izbica deportiert und ermordet. Ihre Mutter Fanny wurde zwei Tage später in das zu einem jüdischen Altersheim umfunktionierte Schloss Dellmensingen umgesiedelt und im August 1942 nach Theresienstadt deportiert. Fanny Nathan wurde dort am 8. September 1942 ermordet.
