Biography of Gerd Funke
Gerd Funke gehörte zu sechs Wehrmachtsangehörigen, die wegen Gehorsamsverweigerung auf dem Sportplatz „Bismarck-Höhe“ (heute „Naturspielplatz“) von einem SS-Standgericht erschossen wurden. An die drei namentlich bekannten, darunter Gerd Funke, wird dort erinnert. Pate des Steins ist der SPD-Ortsverein Apolda.
