Un Pavé a été posé en sa mémoire devant son dernier domicile officiel.

Candidate under-officer, 11th Line, professional soldier and Former Warrior 1940, lived with his parents in Vissegatstraat, 6.

He was born in St Truiden, the 15th of January 1919. In his midst he was one of the most ardent B.N.B.ers. As Group Superior he set the example and would become a strong leader.

Then came May 25, 1943; with the group it went to Breendonk, the unholy place with his murderers and his torture devices; and further went the Stations of the Cross with bloody stations at Esterwegen, Börgermoor and Gross-Strehlitz where the divorce came and then nothing more, until the last message arrived that Antoine was sick and people did not know what had happened to him.

We know however; but how the end is, no, we will probably never hear that.

Antoine died in Gross-Rosen on February 28, 1945.

A stone in his memory was laid in front of his last official home
